Holy s*** snacks! It's almost time for another season of TV's best philandering, sarcastic, alcoholic, hedonistic, sociopathic animated spy! Archer is returning for its ninth season.
You can watch the series on FXX beginning Apr. 25, but if you're a cord cutter who gets your TV through the interwebs, there are a few options to get your fix. FX's subscription service FX+ gets you Archer straight from the source, and Hulu has all of Archer's previous eight seasons. You can also watch Season 9 live with fuboTV, which carries several channels as alternatives for those who have ditched the obligations of cable.
This season will see another reboot of the comedy and will be called Archer: Danger Island as Sterling Archer remains in a coma since Season 7. And because this is basically an adult cartoon where regular rules don't exist, Season 9 will change time periods to 1939 and see the characters in new roles from their traditional counterparts. The plot will involve Archer and Pam surviving a plane crash on a South Pacific island, and you can bet it will give another year's worth of creative insults to use on that person who cuts in front of you at Burger King.
