Queen Latifah is on a freakin' roll! The Oscar nominee's new comedy Bringing Down the House (co-starring Steve Martin) debuted as the weekend's No. 1 film with $31.7 million. It was the third-biggest March opening ever, and a personal best for Latifah and Martin. The Bruce Willis war flick Tears of the Sun opened in second place with $17.2, followed by Old School (No. 3 with $9.2 million), Chicago (No. 4 with $6.9 million) and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (No. 5 with $6.8 million). And in case you're wondering what the heck happened to last weekend's top movie, Cradle 2 the Grave, the martial arts actioner plummeted to No. 6 with $6.6 million. According to my calculations, that's really bad.
