Despite a strong opening for Keanu Reeves' sci-fi thriller Constantine, Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch held on to the No. 1 spot at the box office for a second straight weekend. Hitch grossed an estimated $31.8 million, just barely edging out Constantine's $30.5 million haul. Family film Because of Winn-Dixie debuted at No. 3 with $10.9 million, followed by Son of the Mask at No. 4 with $7.7 million. Million Dollar Baby rounded out the top five with $7.2 million.
