A repentant Rosie O'Donnell recently pledged not to spat with her View colleague Elisabeth Hasselbeck now that she's pregnant, but the vociferous liberal needn't play nice on her Republican co-host's account. Hasselbeck tells TV Guide she's been "bombarding" O'Donnell with e-mails, "trying to convince her to change her mind" about leaving the chatfest in June. Facing the inevitable, the George W. Bush supporter says she wants "someone as strong as Rosie has been to replace her." How about an O'Donnell favorite: the equally opinionated Whoopi Goldberg? "I love Whoopi," Hasselbeck agrees. And while she thinks "it would be a better balanced show to have a woman of color," Hasselbeck hasn't committed to any candidate yet. —By Ileane Rudolph
