Grey's Anatomy: Here's Our Best Guess for Who Jennifer Grey Will Play in Season 15

Nobody puts Greyby in a corner!

TVLine reports that Dirty Dancing icon Jennifer Grey will be joining Grey's Anatomy for a multi-episode arc later this season. But we don't know who she's playing because ABC is keeping that info under wraps for now. Our best guess is Jo's (Camilla Luddington) estranged mother, since Luddington has said that Jo's parents would make their debut this season.

Grey's is a bit of a family affair for the Greys; Jennifer Grey's father, musical theater legend Joel Grey, appeared in a Season 6 episode as a former science teacher of Izzie's (Katherine Heigl) who was suffering from Alzheimer's.

In addition to Dirty Dancing, Jennifer Grey is known for winning Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars in 2010 and for appearing in movies like Red Dawn and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Grey's Anatomy returns from its midseason break Thursday, Jan. 17 at 8/7c on ABC.
