GLENN, DON'T GO!

The Shield closed out its fourth season Tuesday with 3.2 million viewers, a 52 percent increase over Season 3's finale. Overall, FX's premier cop drama enjoyed its second-most-watched season to date; only Season 2 fared better, with 3.3 million viewers. In other cable ratings, HBO's Six Feet Under kicked off its farewell season Monday with 2.6 million viewers, down 30 percent from last year. And Lisa Kudrow's Comeback stalled in its second episode Sunday, falling from 1.5 million to 925,000 viewers. At least HBO still has Carniv&#224le. Oh, wait — they canceled that. (Still bitter, yes I am.)
