GLAAD Adds Faves to Awards Season Mix

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) today announced nominees and special honorees for its 19th annual Media Awards. ABC leads the field among the networks with nine nominations, with Logo leading the cable networks with five. Announced from Park City, some of the nominated artists and productions include Across the Universe, ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, Bravo's Work Out, one episode each from Cold Case and Boston Legal and heavyweight 60 Minutes, among others. In addition to the series and movie, GLAAD will be honoring various members of the creative community at several award ceremonies, including celeb photog Herb Ritts, uber-musician Rufus Wainwright and uber-... well, Janet Jackson.
