The massive and star-studded Shelter from the Storm: A Concert for the Gulf Coast multinetwork simulcast telethon airing Friday evening will now "begin" in the early morning. Phone lines accepting donations for Hurricane Katrina relief will open up at 7 am/ET during Good Morning America, The Early Show and Today (as well as local affiliate morning programs), remain open during the day (on such shows as The View), then stay open after the hourlong special during many late-night talk shows. Also, even more networks have signed on to carry the telecast, including AmericanLife TV, FUEL TV, TV One, Fox College Sports Pacific and... OK, some of these are made up, right?
