Football season is upon us, and if you're a fan of an NFL team that plays in the AFC, or of one of the college football powerhouses of the SEC, then there's a pretty good chance you'll be watching a lot of CBS on the weekends this fall. And thanks to this major deal on annual Paramount+ plans, getting access to the local CBS feed is super affordable for pretty much any budget.
When you use code SPORTS to sign up for a Paramount+ annual subscription, you'll get half off the normal price--you'll pay $30 for a year of Paramount+ essential, or $60 for a year of Paramount+ with Showtime. The latter option is a real steal, as you'll get your shows ad-free, and the newly combined streaming service features a staggering amount of content that was already a bargain for $12 a month. Paying $5 per month, which is how the cost breaks down with this deal, is hard to pass up. This promotion expires on September 20 and is only available for new subscribers.
With an annual subscription you'll also be ready for the NCAA basketball tournament in the spring, and Paramount+ streams plenty of soccer through its CBS Sports banners. And the non-sports content on Paramount+ is pretty beefy as well. Right now we're in the middle of the first season of Special Ops: Lioness, the new spy thriller series from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, and his 1883-adjacent series Lawmen: Bass Reeves isn't far off. The science fiction fans in your life will appreciate having access to all the recent and ongoing Star Trek series. And let's not forget about the Frasier reboot that's coming in October,
And you've also got the entire Showtime library, if you choose the higher tier plan, which consists of a ton of licensed movies in addition to a couple decades' worth of some pretty great original series. So if you've been looking to cut back on your streaming subscriptions, this is a deal that will keep you occupied for a long time.
