George Lopez Arrested for Public Intoxication in Canada

George Lopez had more than he could handle on Thursday.

The actor and comic was arrested for public intoxication at the Caesars Windsor casino in Canada, TMZ.com reports.

Lopez, 52, reportedly passed out on the casino floor, at which point the casino's security contacted the police and Lopez was subsequently arrested inside the casino bar. No charges will be filed, and he has since been released.

Lopez had performed at the casino just prior to the incident and is scheduled to perform there again on Friday. "Tied one on last night. Not feeling great this morning," he said in a statement late Friday. "I was trying to sleep it off, unfortunately, it was on the casino floor."

Lopez stars in the new FX comedy, Saint George, which premieres on Thursday at 9/8c.
