Not to be outdone, Hollywood hosted its own awards show over the weekend but it wasn't nearly as highbrow as the Tony's. The 2002 MTV Movie Awards were taped Saturday at Los Angeles's Shrine Auditorium and winners included American Pie 2 same-sex smoochers Jason Biggs and Seann William Scott (best kiss), Pearl Harbor (best action sequence) and Paul Walker and Vin Diesel (best on-screen team for The Fast and the Furious). In the more traditional categories, best actor went to Ali's Will Smith, best actress went to Moulin Rouge's Nicole Kidman and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was named best film. MTV airs the Jack Black-Sarah Michelle Gellar-hosted ceremony featuring performances by Eminem and Kelly Osbourne on Thursday at 9 pm/ET.
