Now that the Night King is ancient history, it's time for the clash of two queens.
HBO has released some new photos from the upcoming fourth episode of Game of Thrones' final season, and it looks like Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) is quite pleased that she can finally turn her focus back to the South. However, the only other person who seems to be happy about the final war ahead is Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) herself, who has 20,000 reasons to smile, as she overlooks the Golden Company's arrival at King's Landing. Compared to the diminished forces left on Team Dany, Cersei should feel good about her chances of surviving yet another siege on her fortress. For now, at least.
In another of the new shots, we get a glimpse at the Mother of Dragons' battle map, but it's hard to tell which forces the red tiles indicate anymore, since Dany herself has been steadily incorporating that color into her wardrobe this season, and, of course, it's also part of her house sigil.
Meanwhile, the entire Stark brood appears to be in a state of mourning as they light the funeral pyres for their dead. Upon seeing so many bodies stacked up in their homestead, who could blame them if they aren't so eager to march off to another impossible-to-win conflict?
