You can't argue with those dragons

Winter is here. And it was a game of reunions during the Season 8 premiere of Game of Thrones.

While it didn't feature any major deaths or earth-shattering revelations (for fans), the long-awaited premiere of the epic fantasy drama's final season did rattle Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) world as he was finally brought into the loop about his true parentage -- which makes him the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.

It was a big night for Jon, who also rode a dragon (one that just so happens to be named after his father, Rhaegar Targaryen) and reunited with Arya (Maisie Williams). And that wasn't the only years-in-the-making reunion the premiere delivered. Arya also reunited with Gendry (Joe Dempsie) -- with a dash of Hound thrown in, Sansa (Sophie Turner) caught up with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) reunited with Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen), and fans were left on the cliff-hanging reconnection of Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright).

Where did these goosebump-inducing moments put the Season 8 premiere on our ranking of every episode of Game of Thrones? Click to the photo below to find out.
