Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders to Star in Netflix Series Friends From College

Key & Peele star Keegan-Michael Key and How I Met Your Mother alum Cobie Smulders have been cast as the leads in Friends from College, an upcoming Netflix comedy series from the husband-and-wife duo of Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco.

Also joining the cast are The Grinder star Fred Savage, Married's Nat Faxon, Vinyl's Annie Parisse and The Mindy Project's Jae Suh Park.

What's new on Netflix this month

The eight-episode series will follow a group of friends who met at Harvard, and who are now nearing 40 and dealing with all kinds of personal and professional entanglements.

Stoller will direct all eight episodes. The show will begin production this fall, but a premiere date has not been set.
