Fonda Lets Slip the C-word on Today

Viewers of a benign segment on Thursday morning's Today show about playwright Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues were treated to a not-so-lovely naughty word blurted out by the ever-controversial actress Jane Fonda. She was actually just saying the title of a monologue that she was asked to perform (it's a four-letter word that begins with C and ends in T), but nonetheless, the stunned look on host Meredith Vieira's face said that her earpiece was probably on fire with a gaggle of screaming producers. Tell the kids "Earmuffs!" and check out the video here:After a commercial break, Vieira apologized to Today viewers for the inappropriate language that may have offended them. Happy V Day! — Erin Fox
