CBS is going all in on its new series, FBI.

The network announced this afternoon that it's given FBI a full-season order, which is a commendation many other broadcast series are still waiting on this early in the fall season. The full 22-episode order comes just days after the show underwent its second showrunner switch up (yikes), making it a surprising vote of confidence in the new series.

Originally given a 13-episode order, FBI centers on new bureau partners Special Agents Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) and Omar Adom 'OA' Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) as they work to protect innocent American lives and investigate threats of terrorism, organized crime and more. FBI is CBS' most-watched new series with over 13.6 million viewers, as well as the No. 2 new show of the season behind NBC's Manifest.

FBI airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on CBS.

(Full Disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS.)
