"I was never scripted," George Kotsiopoulos said.
We're starting to think Joan Rivers was the nice one on Fashion Police!
On Wednesday, former Fashion Police officer George Kotsiopoulos took Giuliana Rancic to task for how she reacted to the Zendaya controversy. "To not own up to what you said and to blame it on others is just a little messed up," he told People at a Torrid store opening in Chicago.
Will Khloe Kardashian replace Kelly Osbourne on Fashion Police?
Since then, Rancic has claimed she was edited out of context, then said she was just saying the lines that were written for her.
Kotsiopoulos, who left the show in January of this year, disputes that idea.
"I was never scripted," he told the magazine. "What I said were my own words, was my own opinion."
Since the Zendaya fiasco, both Kathy Griffin and Osbourne have left the show. It is on hiatus until September.
Kotsiopoulos hasn't spoken to Rancic since the memorial service for the late Rivers last September.
