The Harry Potter spin-off keeps looking better and better
Eddie Redmayne introduced a brand new look at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Themat Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.
In the trailer - which name-drops Hogwarts and Dumbledore in the first few seconds - we see Newt Scamander (Redmayne) arrive with his case full of magical creatures in 1920s New York City. But after Newt's creatures escape, the British magizoologist must recruit a ragtag team of helpers to aid in their recapture: Tina (Katherine Waterston), her sister Queenie (Alison Sudol) and Jacob (Dan Fogler), a war veteran and muggle, or no-maj as they're known in the States.
Fantastic Beasts was written by J.K. Rowling and directed by Harry Potter vet David Yates. It also stars Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Jon Voight, Ron Perlman, Samantha Morton, Carmen Ejogo, Jenn Murray and Faith Wood-Blagrove. The film hits theaters on Nov. 18.
