Fall TV Press Tour: Nip/Tuck Canceled

FX is pulling the plug on the critically acclaimed drama Nip/Tuck.But don't panic. There are still quite a few hours of surgery and self-esteem left to air. Eight new episodes — the remainder of the strike-interrupted Season 5 — will hit the air in January 2009. Then, a final, 19-episode sixth season will wrap up the series in early 2011.John Landgraf, the netlet's president and general manager, announced that series creator Ryan Murphy will remain on board as Nip/Tuck's showrunner through the final episodes. — Mickey O'Connor
