EXTRA SCOLDING

American Idol alum Clay Aiken places some of the blame for pal Ruben Studdard's recent hospitalization on Extra, which had been chronicling the crooner's weight-loss efforts in a series of reports. "I kinda felt like Extra was exploiting him and I didn't like that," Aiken tells my colleague, Daniel R. Coleridge. "I want Ruben to be as healthy as possible — and I want him to do it on his time." Extra had no comment for this story. Meanwhile, for more of Clay's candid talk, read this Wednesday's Insider.
