Two Experts to Perform Jett Travolta Autopsy

An autopsy was set Monday for John Travolta's teenage son, who died while the family was vacationing in the Bahamas, the health minister, told The Associated Press.
Jett, 16, had a history of seizures, and likely had hit his head on the bathtub in the family home when he died on Friday, a Royal Bahamas Police Department spokesperson said.
Bahamas Health Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis said he decided to use two specialists for the autopsy to guarantee a thorough analysis of what might have caused Jett's death.
A U.S.-certified clinical and forensic pathologist from Nassau will fly into Grand Bahama on Monday to help perform the autopsy.
Travolta, along with his wife and Jett's mother, Kelly Preston, released their first statement on regarding his son's death on Jan. 3, thanking fans for their outpouring of support.
"We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences. Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered," said the statement posted on Preston's Web site.
"We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives."
