Coming off record ratings for David Beckham's first Major League Soccer game, ESPN has added another Los Angeles Galaxy game to its schedule. Sister channel ESPN2 will air Sunday's match against Toronto FC (Aug. 5, 7:30 pm/ET). The network originally planned to air repeat episodes of The World Series of Poker.

Since his July 21 MLS debut, Beckham has missed several games with an ankle injury he sustained earlier in the summer. It has not yet been determined if he will be playing against Toronto, but given that the game has been picked up by ESPN2, it seems likely he'll at least make a cameo. Recovery has "taken more time than we thought," Galaxy coach Frank Yallop told the Los Angeles Times. "The injury's not any worse. It's not structural. It's just getting rid of the soreness. It's been a long, long time."

The Galaxy sure could use Beckham's help. They have a 3-5-4 league record, ranking fifth - out of six teams - in the Western Conference. - Reporting by Rich Sands
