Another Villain Has Joined The New Arrow and Flash Spin-Off
The series is being eyed for midseason
Dominic Purcell will once again follow in the footsteps of his former Prison Break cast mate Wentworth Miller.
The actor will reprise his role as Mick Rory on The CW's newest spin-off of Arrow and The Flash, Deadline reports.
Rory is a pyromaniac who goes by the alias Heat Wave and teams up with Miller's Leonard Snart/Captain Cold to cause mayhem in Central City.
The Flash to introduce a major story from the comics
From Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim, the potential series will also star Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer, a.k.a. The Atom) and Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein). Robbie Amell, who portrayed Ronnie Raymond--the other half of Stein's alter ego Firestorm--has not signed on to the series.
As if that wasn't confusing enough, Caity Lotz, who starred as Sara Lance/Canary on Arrow, will also appear in the series. It's unclear what role she'll play given her character was killed off the show earlier this season.
The project is being eyed for a midseason launch.
