It would seem so, considering he refused to serve as substitute host on last Thursday's Larry King Live because he didn't think the topic — the sentencing of BTK killer Dennis Rader, per Reuters — was appropriate for him. The Associated Press, however, claims Costas balked at doing a show on the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, not BTK. Who to believe? I'd go with the source that says the whole thing is a big publicity stunt.
