Does Bob Costas have something against serial killers? It would seem so, considering he refused to serve as substitute host on last Thursday's Larry King Live because he didn't think the topic — the sentencing of BTK killer Dennis Rader, per Reuters — was appropriate for him. The Associated Press, however, claims Costas balked at doing a show on the disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, not BTK. Who to believe? I'd go with the source that says the whole thing is a big publicity stunt.
