Desperate Housewives' Cherry Hopes for Seven-Year Run

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry says he expects the show to run another four years. “We will be a seven-year run” Cherry told TV Guide at the GLAAD Media Awards in Hollywood over the weekend. “I’ve kind of informed the network and the studio that’s how long I will be with the show and that’s how long it is going to run... and I’m planning accordingly.” The show ends its third season in May. So is there anything he can tell us about the future? “Just for this coming season, in the finale there will be a couple of weddings going on, an interesting pregnancy story and a major health crisis for one of the main characters.” — Reporting by Carita Rizzo
