Crossing Jordan fans anxiously awaiting the show's return may have to cool their heels a little longer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, production on the NBC drama did not resume as scheduled on Wednesday after star Jill Hennessy asked for more time off to spend with her newborn baby. (Last May, NBC announced that Jordan's third-season premiere would be pushed until midseason to accommodate Hennessy's pregnancy.) Despite the added delay, the network maintains the show will return to its lineup in January as planned.
