CROWE A GOOD GUY?

Is Russell Crowe going all soft on us? The Oscar winner is in talks to follow up his turns as a sad-sack pugilist (Cinderella Man), gruff sea cappy (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World) and tortured genius (A Beautiful Mind) with Gladiator director Ridley Scott's A Good Year, in which Crowe would play a banker-turned-vineyard owner who clashes with the land's supposed (and beautiful) rightful owner. And by clash I mean "lobs a phone in the general direction of."
