Warning: The following post contains mild spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

It didn't take an eagle-eyed viewer to notice that there were some familiar faces in Avengers: Endgame outside of the superhero crew and their foes. In fact, the latest chapter of the MCU was a straight up giddy-fest for those of us Marvel nerds who also got down with the study group on Dan Harmon's beloved comedy Community.

The Russo brothers, who directed Endgame (and Infinity War, and Civil War, and Winter Soldier), were also executive producers of the half-hour comedy, which ran for four seasons on NBC and two more seasons on Yahoo. There have been other Community cameos in the past Marvel films, but Endgame managed to squeeze in three (because it's the brightest timeline)! Here's a list of every Community alum who has managed to get some screen time with the superhero crowd.

Avengers: Endgame Spoilers and Burning Questions

Joe Russo (Avengers: Endgame): Russo is actually the first Community person to show up in Endgame. He's the guy talking about his tear-filled date during Cap's (Chris Evans) support group after the time jump.

Ken Jeong (Avengers: Endgame): Jeong played the study group's frenemy/nemesis/Spanish teacher Ben Chang on Community. He pops up shortly after Russo's cameo as the security guard who frees Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) from the storage facility after he breaks out of the Quantum Realm.

Yvette Nicole Brown (Avengers: Endgame): Brown was the moral compass of Community as the God-fearing Shirley. Those morals remain intact in Endgame when she pops up as an administrative employee who almost gets Cap and Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) arrested at the Army base they visit.

Jim Rash (Captain America: Civil War): Jim Rash is better known as the dean of Greendale Community College, but he also dabbled in some superhero science when he showed up as an M.I.T. liaison at the beginning of Captain America: Civil War.

Danny Pudi (Captain America: Winter Soldier): Some of Community's most iconic lines are thanks to Danny Pudi's brilliant turn as the pop culture-obsessed Abed, so it only makes sense that he be the first of the Community crowd to make it to the MCU. He makes a brief appearance as a S.H.I.E.L.D. analyst during the climax of Winter Soldier when Cap and Bucky (Sebastian Stan) begin their final tussle.

Donald Glover (Spider-Man: Homecoming): Donald Glover was the beloved LeVar Burton-idolizing Troy Barnes on Community, and is the only one who didn't make his way into the MCU via the Russos. Before Andrew Garfield was cast as Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man for Sony in 2010, there was a huge internet campaign for Glover to play the webbed superhero. The fan fervor led to Donald Glover voicing Miles Morales in the animated Ultimate Spider-Man TV series and then making a guest-star appearance in two scenes in Spider-Man: Homecoming, as a criminal whom Peter interrogates in his pursuit of Vulture. His character was actually Aaron Davis, the same role Mahershala Ali voiced in Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, because as Troy and Abed would say, it's all connected.

We just need one more person to squeeze into the MCU to make it six cameos and a guest-star, which would be perfection!
