That didn't take too long!

Clayne Crawford is headed back to TV sooner than we thought!

TV Guide has confirmed that Crawford will star in Hulu's horror anthology series Into The Dark. The series puts out movie-length episodes once a month (a unique but fitting delivery method for this 12-part series), and Crawford will appear in the June installment, which revolves around Father's Day. No character or plot details are currently available about this episode. TVLine was first to report the news.

Crawford's return to TV is a little surprising given the circumstances of his exit from Fox's Lethal Weapon last year, which were fraught, to say the least. Crawford's scandalous departure from the show came after complaints of inappropriate behavior on set, which then were used as grounds to fire him from the show. Eventually, the situation escalated when leaked audio and video of his behavior were published by Variety, revealing some combative clashes between Crawford and his co-star, Damon Wayans.

Considering the scandalous nature of his dismissal from Lethal Weapon, some people assumed it would be a good long while before Crawford found his way back to the small screen. But he seems to have bounced back rather well. Lethal Weapon's fate, on the other hand, is far from certain as Wayans claimed to be quitting the series after Season 3, though nothing is confirmed yet.

Into the Dark's next episode drops Friday, April 5 on Hulu.
