CLARK UPDATE

Dick Clark, who continues to recover from a mild stroke suffered last month, will watch his annual New Year's Eve show from a hospital bed this year. "Even though I won't be in New York, there's one tradition I intend to maintain," Clark said in a statement. "As I always have in the past, at midnight I plan on kissing my wife Kari and wishing her a happy New Year." As previously reported, Regis Philbin will be pinch-hitting for Clark in Times Square this year.
