Christina Aguilera will join Celine Dion, the Foo Fighters, B.B. King and John Mayer at The Grammy Nominations Concert Live, a concert hosted by LL Cool J and Taylor Swift.
The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced earlier this year that it will broadcast two different Grammy specials: a concert that will feature past winners and announce this year's nominees, and the traditional awards ceremony.
The concert and nomination special will air Dec. 3 and will also allow the Recording Academy to shine a light on the opening of its Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles. The event is a fundraiser for the museum, which will open to the public the next day.
"If it works out and meets expectations, we'll do it annually," Recording Academy CEO and president Neil Portnow tells Variety. "It's a chance to do something vastly different from other awards shows."
The 51st Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 8, airing on CBS.
