What's old is new again on CBS this fall
CBS' fall schedule is now in full swing, and it's so chockfull of stuff we don't even know where they're going to put it all. The lineup is heavy on reboots and revivals, like newcomers Magnum P.I.and Murphy Brown, but it's not only old stuff. There are also new comedies like Happy Togetherand The Neighborhoodand the faith-based dramedy God Friended Me making this into CBS' most diverse lineup maybe ever.
Monday night is drastically different than it was last year, with the comedy block reduced to two new comedies, Cedric the Entertainer's The Neighborhood and Damon Wayans Jr.'s Happy Together, followed by the Magnum P.I. reboot and Bull moving from Tuesdays to its new night.
Other new shows joining the Eye include the Dick Wolf-produced FBIon Tuesday nights sandwiched between NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans, and spiritual social media drama God Friended Me, which will air Sunday nights at 8/7c. There's also the new Murphy Brownrevival, which will provide an updated take on the very familiar story when it airs Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c.
Returning favorites like The Big Bang Theory (which is in its final season), Young Sheldon, Criminal Minds (which is probably in its final season),SEAL Teamand S.W.A.T. are also accounted for in CBS' new lineup.
