Speaking of J.J. Abrams, his long-in-the-works drama pilot The Catch goes before cameras today although the show's conceit has undergone a major overhaul. Originally starring Greg Grunberg and Orlando Jones as bounty hunters, this Catch will now find Grunberg playing a single father/private investigator who works alongside his grandfather (Don Rickles) and a female partner (Kim Whitley). In other pilot news, Brian Austin Green has been cast as Freddie Prinze Jr.'s best friend in ABC's untitled comedy about a single guy raised in a house full of women. Um, maybe they should call it Brothel.
