Underwood, who is currently recording the album, is collaborating with producer Mark Bright, the force behind her debut disc Some Hearts and its follow-up, Carnival Ride. The two albums have sold nearly 10 million copies combined.Underwood was recently crowned Entertainer of the Year at the ACM Awards, and is only the seventh female since 1970 to claim that honor.
