More good news for Hugh Jackman: The Aussie heartthrob earned a Tony nod for Best Actor in a Musical this morning for his work in The Boy from Oz. Jackman's competition includes Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors), Alfred Molina (Fiddler on the Roof), Euan Morton (Taboo) and John Tartaglia (Avenue Q). The Wizard of Oz fantasy Wicked nabbed a field-best 10 nominations, while Stephen Sondheim's musical Assassins scored seven. Four shows followed with six nods apiece: Avenue Q, Caroline, or Change, Fiddler on the Roof and Henry IV.
