In further proof that we're living in a timeline gone horribly wrong, someone tried to rob Boy Meets World star William Daniels. But don't worry, the 91-year-old actor and resident TV icon is just fine thanks to his quick reaction which scared away the would-be burglar.
It all went down just before 9:40 p.m. on Saturday evening, according to ABC7. Daniels and his wife Bonnie Bartlett were hanging in their San Fernando Valley home when someone tried to kick down the back door. Jumping into action like the true American hero that he is, Daniels turned on the lights and the perpetrator scurried away into the night. Nobody messes with Mr. Feeny!
"Luckily, Mr. Daniels was able to frighten away the person and the LAPD quickly responded," Daniels' publicist said in a statement to ABC7. "They are both well. Mr. Daniels thanks all his fans for their concern."
Equally relieved that no one was hurt during the incident, fellow Boy Meets World alum Will Friedle tweeted the perfect reaction to what transpired. "Don't ever mess with Mr. Feeny! #LoveYouBillAndBonnie," he wrote.
Celebrate Daniels' big save by streaming Boy Meets World which is available in its entirety on Hulu right now.
