None other than Lauren Bacall is the latest celeb to chime in on Tom Cruise's talk-show couch acrobatics and blatant romance-pimping at the time of War of the Worlds' premiere. "His whole behavior is shocking," the veteran film actress tells Time. "It's inappropriate and vulgar and absolutely unacceptable to use your private life to sell anything commercially." What's more, Bacall says, "The word 'great' stands for something. When you talk about a great actor, you're not talking about Tom Cruise." No, that would be David Spade.
