An Australian news anchor has worn the same suit for a year to make a point about sexism.
"I'm judged on my interviews, my appalling sense of humour — on how I do my job, basically," Karl Stefanovic told The Age. "Whereas women are quite often judged on what they're wearing or how their hair is ... that's [what I wanted to test]."

Stefanovic says his Today co-host, Lisa Wilkinson, receives criticism on a daily basis for her clothes, her hair and her overall appearance.

"The reason this all started, this was a show of support for me," Wilkinson says in the broadcast below. "You were very much in accord with me about the issues that happen for women on television and the criticism over what we wear... You said, 'I'm going to wear the same suit every day and see if anyone even notices.'" Stefanovic then says he wore the suit for a month before he even told Wilkinson of the plan.
