ONE ANGRY MAN

The trial of two men accused of trying to extort money from Oscar-winner Russell Crowe was adjourned for two days Monday so prosecutors could have more time to assemble a jury. Philip Antony Cropper and Malcolm Brian Mercer — who allegedly have a tape that shows Crowe in an altercation outside an Australian nightclub in 1999 — are charged with trying to extort money from the actor in exchange for destroying the video.
