Coop (Bre-Z) may not have to worry about her life being in danger after snitching on Crenshaw's most prominent drug dealer in Season 1 of All American, but she's still not about to win any popularity contests at school over it. TV Guide has a sneak peek of Monday's episode in which it seems that there's quite a few people who aren't fans of Coop after she got Tyrone arrested — and that's wreaking havoc on the rest of her life.
Patience (Chelsea Royce Tavares) is already annoyed at Coop at the start of the clip, but when a couple of bullies have something smart to say about Coop being a narc, the usually outspoken tough girl decides to let it go. This seems like a huge red flag to Spencer (Daniel Ezra), who stopped by to see the Crenshaw football team practice. When he calls Coop out on her timidness, Patience is more than eager to say that Coop has lost her bite lately.
Can anyone really blame Coop for wanting to keep a low profile after everything that's happened? She's just trying to stay out of trouble, but both Spencer and Patience are worried this new "laid-back" persona is Coop hiding who she is because she's scared. Just when we thought we could breathe a sigh of relief, it seems like her most important relationships are in jeopardy. Someone needs to cut this girl some slack.
All American airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW.
