ABC KEEPS PRACTICING

The Alphabet network has renewed its hit legal drama The Practice for three more years, ABC confirmed on Friday. The David E. Kelley production was extended through the 2003-2004 season at an estimated cost of $5-$7 million per episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ABC also hopes to feature some crossover episodes in March between The Practice and its primetime medical drama Gideon's Crossing.
