Jon wasn't the best for everyone
So far, Jon (Ron Livingston) seems like the best friend anyone could have onA Million Little Things, but Wednesday's episode of the ABC drama will start to reveal the issues with his and Delilah's (Stephanie Szostak) marriage.
TV Guide has an exclusive clip from the episode, featuring Gerald McRaney (This Is Us) who guest stars as Delilah's father Lenny. Her father suffers from Alzheimer's and forgets that Eddie (David Giuntoli) is a recovering alcoholic when he offers him another drink. Jon immediately snaps at him for forgetting, and doesn't seem the least bit apologetic when Delilah has the nerve to call him out for being insensitive.

The episode comes immediately after the group found out about Delilah and Eddie's affair, and the flashbacks will help show what would drive Delilah to sleep with another man. At this point, Jon has loomed like a larger-than-life figure who was the perfect friend and father. By exposing the issues in their marriage, A Million Little Things will help the audience see Jon as more human than legend.
Wednesday's episode will also see Gary (James Roday) and Maggie (Allison Miller) tested when her ex returns and Gary has to step up to the plate to prove their relationship is more than "fun."
A Million Little Things airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
