An offbeat western with the diminutive Steele as a Robin Hood of the plains who gets his adrenaline rushes from robbing the rich and helping the poor. He also helps a stigmatized foreign actress who is being ostracized by the townswomen. Gunfights and fisticuffs galore in an unusual

adult western from the low-budget studio. This is one of eight Steele westerns made at Monogram just after producer Carr joined forces with the studio following the demise of World Wide, his former releasing company. Monogram's two major western stars, Bill Cody and Tom Tyler, were released from

the studio shortly thereafter. This was the only picture of the eight to be directed by Rosen.
