This occasionally interesting film from Amos Kollek's novel, which is loosely based on his own life (his father was mayor of Jerusalem), stars Kollek as the son of a prominent Jerusalem family. He serves in the reserves, fighting Arabs a couple of days a week, then returning home and

dating an American woman, Shelby Leverington, who lives in the Arab quarter. This makes him uncomfortable, naturally, and then one day he spots a wanted terrorist. From here the film turns into a chase movie. Some insights into the Israeli character are to be found here, but as entertainment it's

mediocre at best.
