Wide Open Reviews

A charming comedy has Horton playing a timid, bumbling employee of a big company. He is brim-full of workable new ideas but is too shy to express them. Enter the boss' daughter, Miller, who knows exactly how to go about putting Horton's ideas across. A wild series of complications follow, during which the firm's superintendent is fired, Horton's ideas are adopted, and he and Miller march off to the altar. In spite of plenty of naughty dialog which Horton puts across with his inimitable nervous innocence, there is a naive quality to the story which has allowed it to age well. Horton and Miller are an excellent team and Fazenda works in a funny song along the way.
