Despite the title, this is not a Fred Astaire vehicle and hero Duryea does no dancing, although fully qualified. Butler Duryea, left alone with chauffeur-cum-crapshooter Jenks in the spacious mansion of his vacationing employers for 10 days, decides to sample a life of leisure. Since his

master's vestments fit him, he assumes the guise of a millionaire, enlisting the services of Jenks and the family vehicle. Proceeding to a posh gambling club, he meets Raines, a troubled child of real wealth, whose sister owes a $100,000 gambling debt to tough, but soft-hearted racketeer Bendix.

To impress the ravishing Raines, dapper Duryea writes a check--using his employer's name--to cover the debt. As security until the check clears, Bendix takes some priceless paintings from Duryea's master's mansion. With only a few days to go, Duryea, Raines, and Jenks scramble frantically to get

enough money to cover the forged check and retrieve the captive canvases. The talented Bendix steals his every scene.
