With too far fetched a concept to be effective as dramatic filmmaking, this British feature revolves around Dresdel's belief in the reincarnation of her musician sister, Fildes, whose death she feels responsible for. Apparently, Dresdel has pushed her sister to achieve, and when Fildes,

obsessed with completing a piano composition, falls off a cliff during a sleepwalking episode, Dresdel latches onto the notion that the girl's soul has transmigrated. Twenty-five years later this belief seems to be given tangible evidence when amnesiac Raye wanders into Dresdel's home and sits

down at the piano in the manner of Fildes. Poor Raye almost meets the same cliffside fate as her predecessor, but is saved in the nick of time by her worried husband. Stiff performances and strained direction do little to help the plot's inadequacies.
