The innocent ingenue, pregnant, is deserted by her much older seducer, Alexander, and commits suicide. This tour de force by actor-writer-director Mack seems too clinical in its inexorable do-good story line to be a feature film, but it might do well in sex-education classrooms. Interesting for an

early glimpse of the 17-year-old Grable in one of her few nonmusical films of the time.
