'Welcome' is a gift of constant revealing. It explores the expressiveness of objects through surges and gyrating motions. I set the stage with kinetic sculptures and props, and attempted to fill the space with their movement. I had people activate objects, and in turn, objects activate architecture. Through the film, I also wanted to be taken from one mood to the next, with the sensation of having passed through different rooms. 'Welcome' was shot on 16mm film with a Bolex camera.
