Lisa Robb (April Daisy White) is a young actress who is invited to a party at minor gangster Jack Diamond's (D. Balin) house. There she is raped by senior gangster Frank Lyon (Alec Massey), along with Diamond and his lesbian wife. At home she tries to hide her bruises, but her nosy aunt

spreads the news. Subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury, she is thoroughly discredited by false testimony. Meanwhile, Lisa begins an affair with policeman Kevin McBane (J.C. Quinn). But the gangsters haven't heard the last of Lisa. After moving so ponderously and introducing so many extraneous

characters, the way this movie wraps itself up in about ten minutes is confusing, but a relief. A few likable performances, particularly those of Quinn and White, are about all this movie has going for it. With great dollops of nudity of the most gratuitous kind, VIOLATED is hardly art, but mostly

harmless.
